I want to do the program but it involves exercise and I’m very unfit. Should I wait until I’m fitter?
No! All coaching sessions are tailored to you and are designed to get you fitter quicker. Waiting to start exercising with a professional until you’re fitter is akin to trying to teach yourself to drive before you take a lesson. If you’re ready to start now, then now is the best time to start. Besides, you will achieve your goals faster in the long-term with professional guidance.
I have an injury. Can I still participate?
Yes. I would recommend a program in which you work one-to-one with me. I will assess your movements and either try to help you get to the root of the injury or I will work alongside a medical professional to ensure your exercises help to rehabilitate the injury.
You’re a personal trainer, does that mean you will shout at me?
No! I believe that most people (women especially) respond better to gentle correction and encouragement than they do to being shouted at and humiliated. I want you to enjoy your fitness sessions as much as I do – we can chat, laugh, joke and still have an effective exercise session.
I don’t like the gym/exercise. What do you do that’s different?
I work with you to make sure you do exercise that you enjoy.
Most of the time I find that people who initially don’t like exercise, don’t like it because they don’t have the energy for it. The majority of these people find that once they build their energy up, they really look forward to exercise.
None of our exercise sessions are based in a gym. They either take place at the client’s home or a private personal training studio. This means no crowds, no queuing for equipment and you can even choose your own music. Almost everyone I have worked with has commented on how much more comfortable they feel in these environments than they do in a gym.
I have special dietary requirements, can I still participate in the nutrition part of the program?
Yes. In fact the nutrition program is excellent for people with food allergies, intolerances and sensitivities as it can help to heal the gut and reduce inflammation.
It can also be adapted for most non-medical dietary requirements too.
I don’t live in your catchment area but I’m close by. Can you still help me?
We mainly operate in the areas of Richmond Upon Thames and Chiswick. However, we can often extend this to include Twickenham, Hounslow, Ham and Acton. Contact our offices and we will see what we can do.
Why don’t you have prices on your website?
We have a variety of programmes designed to work for a variety of women (See our programmes here). We also have different options to suit different budgets.
Rather than list all of these options on our website and confuse everyone, we prefer to meet you first and then together, we can look at the programmes that are going to help YOU reach your goal most effectively.
I’ve booked a free ‘Energy & Weight Loss Action Plan’ but I’m not sure what I should wear?
Please wear loose-fitting comfortable clothing that you can move around easily in. During this free session we usually talk through your past history and complete a detailed lifestyle analysis but if we have time, we may do a little exercise too.
